Akbar Khan in JK Bank ‘Pride of Paradise’ calendar | KNO

International cycling star of Kashmir, has found his place in the prestigious J&K Bank ‘Pride of Paradise’ calendar that was launched by Finance Minister Dr. Haseeb Drabu at JK Bank corporate office here on Saturday.

Akber will feature on the page showing dates for month of June 2017. Apart from being honored with his presence in the calendar photo feature, Akbar was also felicitated with a trophy and cash reward.

Akbar is only cyclist from state to have represented Country at international level. He is also only cyclist of state to have won double gold medals at national level. He is also the only cyclist to have won   two medals in All India Inter-University meet.
